Mister Sandman (Pat Ballard) - Jazz Accordion

Thank you Walker :)
And sounds very good in this type of music. This 8 in chamber - sounds smooth and sweet

So - Scandalli makes brillant accordions with nice sound

And experiment - the same piece - Roland FR4X

You play very well Piotr, regardless of whether it's an acoustic accordion or a digital instrument. The Roland sounds very good actually but to my ear the Scandalli is a different class. :)

Piotr: Another winner. Congratulations too on the backing track. I was, generally, anti-backing track because most were so loud and tasteless but the one you’re using is is very understated as well as adding a good rythmnical backing. Well done - again!

Piotr, as always, super nice.

Now, here is my opinion... those that purchase a digital accordion searching for exact acoustic quality sound or better will be always, Always, ALWAYS disappointed. A digital accordion is not an acoustic, comparing the 2 is a complete waste of time.

If what you are looking for is options, sonic variety, thousands of sounds that an acoustic cannot do AND the ability to integrate simulated acoustic accordion along with those sounds, then you are on the right track and a good candidate for a digital accordion.

Let me challenge you by asking you to make one more recording of this song, using the 4X but add percussion and digital instruments, and NO accordion sounds. It doesn't have to sound better than your acoustic version, but it does need to sound different and put a smile on your face, then post that version here. Again, this is NOT to show that digital is better or that acoustic is better, just you showing us a dimension of where one can have fun and leverage the benefits of a 4X. :)

Thank you.
Boxplayer4000 this track is made by Arrigo. He prepares arrangements, sheet music and play along video tracks - very usefull.
Jerry - as I said earlier - this is just a joke/experiment on my part only :) I'm not going to compare it because it doesn't make sense.
I agree with you exactly.
When I use 4x, I usually look for little bit an accordion sound there, even though I know it's not real. But it's accordion....
I like especially something like french musettes like here. Small test with another digital different sounds.
