The attached video is from the youtube channel "Gyrocompa". The left hand of the accordion is pure free-bass with larger buttons. The player (no name given) is using his left thumb on the outermost row of buttons. The accordion (I can almost read "Pigini" on it) seems to be a modern day version of the Harmonéon of Pierre Monichon. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harmoneon)

Interesting.

The lettering on the instrument says ‘ Borsini ‘

Beautiful. I've always been curious about free bass systems. I've been working on a piece that is bass hand dominant with a traditional Stradella piano accordion. The treble hand is mainly droning in the bassoon register while the bass hand creates the movement in the piece. Bass chords do come into play, but the overall effect is harmonic movement through single voices.
