Music Tech MIDI system for accordion

I have used a Limex MIDI interface for many years but am contemplating a switch to Music Tech on my new Borsini. If I do that, would the wireless Limex unit plug into the accordion and work? I believe Music Tech uses the same DIN plug as the Limex but not sure the wiring would match. Any other comments/recommendations on the switch from Limex would be appreciated as well.
