Im a huge fan of Andy Cutting and Leveret, so I thought for my first YouTube video I would play a couple of his originals. I dont play it note for note though, as theres a little personal touch thrown in.

Heres a direct link:

Criticisms are welcomed and encouraged on this forum. Please bear in mind that I switched to the chromatic button 11 months ago, from the PA. Positive comments are welcomed in the comments section of youtube itself :)

I use the bass notes on the left hand for a drone effect, as I wanted the focus to be on the melody and not any rhythm.

Thanks for listening.

Very nice, and it's encouraging to see the progress that can be made in less than a year if switching to button.
Every time I hear a Saltarelle I'm impressed, your playing and choice of music does it justice.

Well done ! I particularly like the fact that you are not looking down at the keyboard

Very enjoyable, I liked your choice of song and your style of playing. :)
For minor criticisms, just pay a little more attention to when you change bellows direction, focus on changing in between the start/end of phrases, not in the middle. There are moments where your direction changes look hurried and other times when they are smooth seamless and unhurried.

Overall a lovely job!

I think that was pretty good. If I was just to hear that clip, I would have said it was played on a diatonic instrument in much the same way as some of the better continental players do. Good job! A couple of players I've come across, get a bit agitated about finishing with open bellows!. Pretty good after 11 months!. :ch

Thank you for the feedback!

Interesting to hear that! Its tough to pull off as towards the end I have 3 bass notes and a melody button pressed, so theres not a lot of room to maneuver in that spot. Thanks for the feedback!!
