National Accordion Convention 2016

Is anyone here planning on attending the National Accordion convention in Dallas next month? I went four years ago and it was one of the best experiences of my life. But I just can't afford the dollar this year.

Interesting... not something I will do this year, but who knows maybe next year. BTW, I used to live about 15 minutes outside Dallas a few years ago. Never saw much evidence of accordion clubs or anything beyond the odd small tex-mex group with the rare accordionist. They must have been well hidden.

Texas is a huge accordion state and this particular convention has been going on for at least twenty years. Apart from what I saw at the convention I don't know anything about the city or the state but you really could see how huge the clubs from around the state were at this convention.
