Welcome!

A Bugari Artiste Cassotto is a nice instrument with a good pedigree, however, this one looks well used falling in to some abuse judging by the dirt and stains, this doesn’t bode well for the important part, the insides if the outside bears signs of a hard life. Early to mid 60’s is my guess judging by the very old style mic plug-in.

The Kurikka looks in better condition outside, consequently is a lower quality accordion of a not well known brand as well as likely being older. True values of both can only be determined after examination of the insides.

Both probably preowned by the same player: the piano accordion has Finnish words/brand names written on it. The Bugari Artist Cassotto uses the Finnish G system: such accordions are pretty much exclusively built for and delivered to Finland. The latter would be a comparatively good instrument, but if you wanted to put it up on Ebay, you should most definitely include an option shipping to Finland: apart from expats, nobody in Canada would put in a good offer.

The Bugari was manufactured in 1986. Thank you for your input

OK, that makes the accordion 38 years old, which implies it is likely about time to replace the wax holding the reed plates to the blocks. That can be combined with converting the accordion from Finnish system to C system because the diagonals run in the same direction, so in theory the conversion only involves moving the reeds between the blocks and then unscrewing the buttons and moving to where they should be for the C system. For someone who really wants this good quality instrument but wants C system this conversion is well worth it.

Makes one winder why the 60's mic plug. In 1986 they had phono cables, I am sure of that. That and the external condition does indeed show it was not treated very well, but thats all lipstick, the real value is inside.
