I am Bill, an older guy in north central Michigan. I started in 2009 with a piano accordion. Other musicians allowed me to join them and that helped me more than anything..including lessons. I may yet learn to play my accordions.

I have several and each has its own problems. I have repaired a few bugs and now I need to dive deeper. I do have one I would like to have professionally serviced and suggestions would be appreciated.

Welcome Bill

This forum is a rich source for hints by professional players and accordion techs.
Also presumably there are fellow players who can recommend a professional service technician "nearby" your location.

Welcome Bill! I haven’t heard of techs over your way, but good luck and let us know if you find one. You will find answers here though, if you are DIY inclined.

... and today it shows up as "error 404 Not Found"... so someone is doing something with it, but they're not doing the right things so far. :)

I live near Asheville, NC, and last week I took a decades old one row button accordion to a local shop, owned by Bob Snope. He resurrected it in a few days, and it's better than new. He worked for 30 years at the Button Box in Massachusetts but moved here last year. He has customers from all over the country send him various squeeze boxes for repairs. He definitely struck me as an honest man who knows his craft. Here's the link to his website:
Be sure to contact him before you send him anything.
