Hi everyone,

Not trying to promote here, but I was asked to post info on my new accordion club, which I am starting on zoom.

I'm currently starting my second club in my new location. It's the "DC/AC" (I need to make a "Back in Black" logo), also known as the "Door County Accordion Club."

I'm starting this club solely on Zoom, hoping to move outside this spring, and inside once covid is a little less. I've started a blog, with Zoom meeting info to be added to the home page for the first meeting February 15, 2022.

Yes. Love the pic of the blue accordion on the shore. Are you wanting to keep this to folks in your geographical area?

Thanks! That's my main accordion, I love it. The club meetings will be open to everyone (unless they get too crowded which would be a good problem to have ???).

All the members from Oz will join to see you play “Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap” on your Piatanesi wearing your schoolboy shorts!
Gonna put down my Piatanesi, pick up my Crucianelli and be back in black.

Good luck with your new Zoom club Tom.

Good luck with your new Zoom club Tom.
Thanks Glenn! You never know what will happen. My plan is to find an outside venue when it warms up, moving inside next fall. I miss the camaraderie of the club I started with my friend years ago and hope to find the same here, inspiring all local sccordionists to come out of the woodwork. ?

Well Tom, to get in on the fun and to help you out with it, I'll join the fun for as long as it's on ZOOM. Don't expect me to show up to many of the live events... lol :)

First official meeting was a success! Wow, how often do you get a live appearance from our very own JerryPH? Thanks so much for playing, Jerry!

I updated the logo, now with the quarter rest instead of the original lightning bolt.

I had a blast, we need to do it again, and maybe encourage some members here to come and join!

It's super informal, we just chat, talk accordions and play a song or two in between... it was fun! We talked a little technique and I demo'ed a couple of my newly programmed sounds on the 8X that I just created (work in progress, lots of tweaks needed!).

What surprised me how nervous I was the first couple of songs, but near the end it got better and I kinda wished I had more time and more music to share. Why didn't we do this earlier??? :D :D

Thanks so much for joining us, Jerry! Next meeting March 1, everyone is welcome!!! Just hang out or play, no pressure. This club has no officers, no dues, no agenda, no rules, no entry requirements, no competition, just accordion fun....

I almost wanted to join - then I realized 7 p.m. central time is 2 a.m. Renningen. I personally wouldn't mind this time (for once), but my husband and neighbours would kill me and our house's very clairaudient (couldn't find a better translation) - Eleonore
