I'm just wondering if anyone could helped me with finding an approximate value of an accordion I have!! It is a giuliette petite, serial number 2475 <EMOJI seq="1f60a">?</EMOJI> thanks

Please post a photo and give a little bit more information.

Make sure the images are not too large.
In full edit mode the forum gives a max size but in my opinion just use the “small” setting on your phone to take a photo as it’s resolution should be sufficient.

I am not surprised that information about this, or really any, accordion is difficult to obtain. Even for the most popular ones. Before then 1960s there were hundreds, maybe thousands of little shops making them and most of them are gone leaving no trace or what they produced. Also, accordion schools would import accordions and put their own brand name on them further clouding where they come from.

Your pictures show a rather nice looking box, however, you dont show the end of they keys, the bellows, or any of the buttons on the bass side. How an accordion looks is really not a good indicator of its worth for the celluloid material they cover the accordion with lasts for decades looking like new.

How an accordion plays, sounds and the condition of its internals are the key, and, of course, its only worth what someone is willing to give for it.

I see you dont live far from Philadelphia, PA and would suggest you visit a place called Liberty Bellows with your accordion, in downtown Philadelphia, They are one of the major accordion stores here in the US and will appraise the unit for you. You can also contact them at https://www.libertybellows.com/appraisals.htm and fill out that form, however, I think a visit would result in a better experience.
