Hello Everyone.
I am from Michigan and I inherited a Concertina Accordion from my Grandfather. He would have been the first in my family to play this type of instrument, or any instrument for that matter. I am going to make a post with some more background info and some pictures under the "makes and models" section.

Hi,
Welcome to the forum.
I had a look at the pictures of your concertina in your parallel post.
It looks like a beautiful instrument.
You may get more feedback on it by contacting a concertina forum but that you probably already know :?

Hello and welcome to the Forum. We're quite a diverse group of accordion folks. I think you'll find the people here helpful and knowledgeable too. You might want to check out Reyes Accordion Forum...its members are less piano accordion-oriented and more into smaller accordions including concertinas. They are heavier into Tex-Mex, festive, Creole, and some play at the cantinas and Latino dance halls in the Texas Hill Country around San Antonio. I don't frequent that site very often, but it has more people who can likely give you more information about your instrument too. But hope you stay on this site as well. Hope to make it to the Upper Peninsula one day. My wife wants to see the tulips in bloom and Mackinac Island.
