Not everything Russian is evil - those great big grumbly bass reeds on their accordions and the more dulcet treble combinations on their bayan types are something special.

I agree with you, Ff, but he's Ukrainian, which is a significant difference these days. ? Anyway, is that a maple and mayapple forest he's playing in? Wow, cool!

The forest looks very nice but it would appear to be birch and ash which would be more prevalent in that part of the world. If he was playing in a Canadian forest I would advise him to leave because the undergrowth looks quite similar to poison ivey. ?

Thanks Valski! It looks like mayapple, which is very common here (and tasty!)....but I could be wrong.
 
I have no experience with instruments such as this one. I find its tone to be really quite remarkable. And nicely recorded as well.
