Not an accordion song (but has 2 Excelsior samples!)

As I previously wrote, I am far from being a great accordion player, but I find it fun and useful to create soundscapes and sonic textures. Here's a track I published today. It's an electronic music improv that features 2 samples from my Excelsior, first is at 52 seconds and second one at 1:15.

Thanks for the thumbs up!

The 2 samples are part of two mini sample packs I made. They are a simple collection of a few one-shot samples. There are a some single notes but I mainly extracted bits I find interesting I recorded while learning and taming the accordion. They include short sequences of notes or chord/notes combinations that sound good to me.

Those interested who work with samples can download the second pack (47 samples, 33.5 MB) for free from my Free Sounds page (many other types of sounds too):

Samples with names ending with NR2 are a second version of the sample with the same name in which I have removed the noises specific to the accordion (keyclicks, growls). Recorded with a Tascam DR-05X built-in stereo mics.

Possible uses are: as one-shot to spice up a piece (like one the video above), looped to create an ambient pulse or mood, thrown in a granular sampler or any other sample mangler. NOT a MULTISAMPLED set!
