Old Straw Bonnet

Getting ready for a week long fiddle camp, as an accordion player. Hope they don’t tar and feather me! I see one of the tunes they like is called Old Straw Bonnet, so I tried hunting down sheet music, no such luck. I found a YouTube clip and gave it a try listening to it and playing by ear… frustrated is the word that comes to mind! My son said, here, let me use a music program to write it out for us, (he plays fiddle, guitar, mandolin) he is amazing on how he can hear all the little nuances in a tune and the speed he wrote this. I could more easily find the bass by playing my left hand buttons and listening/watching the chords the guitar players were forming. The music isn’t perfect I’m sure, but gives a head start for a pretty cool tune.
