I'll forgive him the thumb resting and supporting.
No doubt a DIY self study.
Very good playing, but all single notes... And no basses being used...
With this technique you can not play fast legato parallel interval scales or passages when needed to enrich your improvisations or variations.

This guy is a great talent, obviously.
