Hi, Folks, and A Jolly Christmas to you All....
A few months ago, I purchased the instrument in the video referenced below -- its a lovely Noble, and Im very happy with it. Noble accordions were sold by the Don Noble company of Chicago, USA, which has long been out of business. Ive read that most of them were actually manufactured by Gabbanelli, but others are from other manufacturers. Liberty Bellows, from which I purchased the instrument, was not able to identify its origin.
Im wondering if any of my Accordion Comrades here might have some information about its original manufacturer. The serial number on the back is 40149 and the number 2200 is etched below that. The Made in Italy identification appears to be scratched in by hand: it does not appear machine etched.
Ive not been able to find any other instruments on the web that look the same -- something I understand is not uncommon with the Noble brand.
Thanks very much, and Happy New Year.
