I have no intention to buy this accordion, already having more projects than I can handle.

But Im curious as why it is so valuable. I figure it costs a lot to restore (that is, if it can be restored at all). Its already $250, 11 bids with 2 more days to go.

Looks like some funny bidding going on there. I don't think it is worth the .99 they started it at, but as a wall hanger decoration it may be worth what it is at now. I doubt the person that is getting bid up is actually going to play it.
When you have a low feedback and a bid retracter bidding against each other, you know something funny is going on...

First thought is why isn't s/he banned by ebay, but then they'd set up a new account and you wouldn't know they were a scammer.
