playing 3+3 and 2+4 bass systems

Hi all!
Another topic on my mind... I'm considering to buy a second accordeon for bringing to gigs. I have my eye on a nice Mengascini with a mano reeds. The bass system is 3+3, with the progression C-E-Eb.
My other instruments are all 2+4...

I'm studying more complex chords at the moment, using quite a lot of dim chords with alternate bass notes and am a bit worried that playing two systems at the same time might be confusing..

Does anyone have experience with this?

I'm quite content with both systems, you'll likely fall into place with the muscle memory/feel of each instrument...
My only concern would be I'd prefer the 3x3 to be C,E,Ab...so that you had chromatic diagonals...my Piermaria is set this way..I believe @jozz on here plays the configuration you mention
 
For the first 10 years or so I played a Crucianelli with 3+3. Then I moved to another accordion (a Hohner) with 2+4. It took a short while to get used to not having the minor thirds, but in the ind this was no big deal. I can now play both systems. The ideal is of course a 3+4 accordion which typically then has 140 bass buttons.
 
While I do have a Bugari 3+3 in C-E-Eb, but I must say I rarily switch to another system because this is my main instrument for playing both hands.

On occasion I found myself searching for the correct button in relation to the bass note/row, but I guess not so often that I would let it influence a potential new instrument.

I'm with the others that in the end, you adapt easily and it doesn't really matter.

I think it would be great to have 3+3 in addition to 2+4 because then you have both worlds.
