Thanks Fellas for your kind observation. The Bell is indeed the model 2520 and while it does have hand made reeds and sounds and projects very well, I don't think of it as being a classic quality instrument.
I don't claim to be an expert on the Bell line of accordions, I know that down through the years some very fine accordions were marketed under the American Bell name. Some of the better ones made by Borsini. This one however is the same as a Scandalli Professional 20 with a different grille design. The accordion is LMMH with a mild musette like tuning. It is a very powerful accordion and I do enjoy playing it.

Twas a great day, especially once I stopped cutting off the circulation to my hands with overly tight straps and a too high playing position! Made playing quite difficult for a while.

Yes, Im skulking at the back. Theres a shot on facebook of the band and all you can see is my hat and feathers behind a melodion player )

Thousands of visitors enjoyed the music, international food and a family atmosphere at the annual Strawberry Fair in Cambridge on Saturday.

Two people were arrested at the event at Midsummer Common - one for a drugs offence and one for a public order breach.
