[font=Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif]I, like a lot of people around the world are currently forced into isolation, I am quite lucky as after returning from overseas, I only have eight more days to go, but many dont have that freedom.[/font]
[font=Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif]To not let this time go to waste Ive decided to record some practise sessions whilst I am learning the Chaconne, Bachs final movement in his Partita for Solo Violin in D minor.[/font]
[font=Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif]These videos will show the process behind my learning and practising as I explore this new music. I will try and explain my thinking as I work through the piece (and make excuses for my many mistakes) to create an arrangement of the score using the original manuscript of Bach and transcriptions of Brahms, Busoni, [font=Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif]Vyacheslav Semenov[/font] and Lips.[/font]
[font=Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif]There will be no editing of the videos and all mistakes and errors will be included as they are part of the process searching for the right notes, bellows, sound and articulation that I want for the final performance.[/font]
