When ordering spare parts, I often cannot give an accurate description of my wants and this is where an honest, knowledgeable supplier is needed. In Scotland, we have Charlie Marshall of CGM Musical Services who has delivered the goods for me in an exemplary fashion for the past ten years and gets my highest praise.
Advertising on this forum is not the norm but I have just got to pass this on.

p.s. I neither know Charlie or his company - Just a very happy customer.

I'd very happily second the recommendation of Charlie, great stock, fair prices, very helpful and quick. Always a pleasure to deal with!

More praise for CGM.
The father ( in his eighties) of a friend of mine had decided to take up the box again after an absence of over 50 years, but needed a new set of shoulder straps. I recommended Charlie and gave my pal his phone number. He rang Charlie, who was delighted to get to talk to someone in person as most of his trade is done on the internet. Charlie recommended the correct set and, when asked about payment, Charlie just said he would post the straps off and he could send a cheque when he got them.

I have had great experiences with Jeff from Wilson Music Services in Toronto when getting parts for my Hohner - they are an authorized Hohner dealer so that helps (they also specialize in mouth harps). Originally the fellow from FRM directed me here - all of my communications were returned same day, and he did well to ensure I was getting the right parts considering I am new with these things. Highly recommended.
