I decided to sell my red FR-7b. I also have an FR-1xb and recently I found myself reach for the FR-1xb most of the times. I don't want to see the FR-7b on the shelf looking at me, begging to be played.

It is the one featured in: this thread and this thread and this thread. It is in good condition. I bought it new from now-closed Roxy's Music Store (NY). It has never wondered outside the house.

The battery is in good condition. I don't measure, but I think it gives me about 7 hours of playing.

Included: the FR-1b, the original battery pack, a 0.5 A battery charger and a 2A battery charger, and a 120VAC to 24VDC power adapter.

With the modifications, the foot controller FCB-7 and the unwieldy cable are not needed. I myself never use them. They are not included. A member of this board need them so I sent it to him.

Price: US $1000, donated to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. You can make the donation yourself, or pay me and I'll make the donation. If you can't make the donation immediately, you'll have 12 months to do so. Your words are enough. You don't have to let me know how much/if/when you make the donation.

Shipping: you reimburse me the actual shipping cost + US $1 so I can claim that I make money with the deal :). Or you can pay me US $1 and pick up the accordion at my office in Alameda, CA.

Note: shipping can be slow because I have access to a car only on Thursday.

I'll post photos later.

Correction:

Included: the FR-1b, the original battery pack, a 0.5 A battery charger and a 2A battery charger, and a 120VAC to 24VDC power adapter.

Should read:

Included: the FR-7b, the original battery pack, a 0.5 A battery charger and a 2A battery charger, and a 120VAC to 24VDC power adapter.

Wow, that’s a really good deal for someone. If I played cba I’d jump on it. Very generous of you Penta, good to see.

The potential buyer backed out. The accordion is now available.

Some more photos....

The battery pack is left outside the accordion to show that the accordion is powered by the 24VDC power adapter:

0.5V battery charger:

The battery can also be charged inside the accordion:

The whole package: the accordion, the battery pack (inside the accordion), the 2A battery charger, the 0.5A battery charger, the 24VDC power adapter. There is also a 20-AA cells battery holder so that you can use the easy-to-get AA rechargeable battery.
