I just purchased a used Roland FR-1X accordion from Amazon and when I first played it, four keys of the treble side sound like clusters. Like if I’m playing a bunch of keys and the same time. Did a reset and nothing happened. Any fix?

Hello,
Could you precise exactly which physical keys are concerned ?
- which FR1x type : CBA or PA ?
- which row/line positions ?
Regards
Serge

Hello! It’s the 26 key piano accordion FR-1X. The keys are (from left to right): B 3, G 4, D# 5 and B 5.

Hello,
These 4 keys are on the same row of the keyboard matrix.
It is probably a problem on line T0 of this matrix.
If you feel able to open your accordion, you will probably solve this issue by reconnecting the 22 pin cable between the Keyboard and the Amplifier board. (T0 is line 15 of this cable)
I do not know how easy is the access. May be reconnecting only one side (the easiest one) will be sufficient. Reconnecting the 2 sides should be OK.
Regards
Serge
