in the USA, service manuals for Roland equipment have, for quite
some time now, mostly been available only in Virtual form
online to registered Roland repair centers.. Paper and even
PDF copies are no longer distributed or made available
to owners or interested independent repair people
some things do still find their way into the wild
back in my era, Ampeg, Korg, Lowrey, Chicago Music, Peavey,
Fender, St. Louis Music, and many more shared schematics
and service manuals with me (as an end used of their products)
without reservation.. times have changed
iulyone, you may have better luck asking about whatever
I saw this link in a thread (by SergeRbt) about FR3 service and thought this should have a new thread. I was just able to purchase a FR4-X service manual and it appears others are available. It cost 11 Euro via paypal and was delivered via an email link within the hour. It's a big file - almost 20 meg. Includes schematics and photos.
Guys, service notes are different from service MANUALS... these are separate documents that outline changes or differences in software, hardware or manual changes.
I also cannot tell from the original post if he wanted to add a link to post service notes, was asking about it or something else.
