Hello all accordionists!
Not sure if this issue was already in discussion here earlier.
My 10 y/o Roland FR-7x started to show some problems with its digital personality. It started to experience some stuck notes, first - intermittently, during the ongoing play but then it began to happen right after I turn the system ON. It is either no sound at all - the buttons and register/set switches wouldn't even respond (although the display shows the completed software load). Then the issue turned into a different variation - any initial note played on the right hand would get stuck immediately and produce continued sound until I shut it down and restart it again. Nothing else worked. Sometimes I would have to do reboot multiple times until it eventually goes normal. But today it just died on me and won't even complete loading the system. It is making an attempt to start but after ~ 2 seconds it goes blank again. My battery is fully charged but also it happens when I am connected to the FBC-7 pedal board via the 19-pin original cable. Did any V-Accordeon users experienced the same issue? Is it a known issue or does anybody know how and where to fix it?

Thank you

At least some of this seems to be a bit too common of a problem. Cory Pesaturo posted something similar a long while ago. Apparently his solution was that there was a fuse that became not burnt but WEAK and a replacement addressed the issue. This may or may NOT be your solution too. Please do a search, hopefully it was not one of the posts lost over the years.

Thank you, Jerry! I found that thread in here. Looks like replacing the F1 fuse would do the trick. Because I'm using all the original cables and a power cord from the very beginning.
BTW. I enjoy your youtube videos (y)

Let's hope that indeed it does help you out, and thanks... I appreciate the kind words! :)
