Roland fr3x connection to computer for band in a box

Hi and HELP!!!

A quick question. I’m working with band in a box and have quite a few arrangements ready, however now I have to put the lead melody line in with my 3x. 

1. Can I midi from my 3x to my computer via a midi to usb cable?
2. Do I need to use an audo interface and go from the accordion to interface to the computer with a regular patch cord?
3. Or is there a better solution??

The 1st option would be the easiest unless you want to record the audio of your 3x into BIAB.
