Some historic documents about accordion construction
Patents with ideas about rotation and cylindrical mechanisms for treble (transposition mechanism) or bass accordion parts.

1915: the accordion reeds are mounted in a cylindrical vertical position, with a rotation mechanism to transpose:

These days mouth harp makers are again experimenting with twin harmonicas and cross hybrid models.
A combination of some patents could be used to create kits and modular units to create more hybrids, a mix of rotating cylinders , bellows and mouth harps you can freely put inside ?

Maybe the Galleazzi idea of a rotation mechanism for the treble side of the accordion (transposition mechanism) can also be be used for the bass of diatonic and chromatic accordions.
