I went to this live concert in Leeds UK yesterday, one of the best performers I've ever heard.

There is a YouTube link and the concert starts 16mins in. Everyone will know and love the Nutcracker Suite, amazing!

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart - Andante in F major, K616
Franz Schubert - Impromptu, op 90, no 2
Franz Schubert - Impromptu, op 142, no 4
Dmitri Shostakovich - 24 Preludes and fugues, op 87, no 15 in C sharp major
Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky - Suite dallo “Schiaccianoci” (Nutcracker)
-Ouverture-miniature - Allegro giusto
-Marcia - Tempo di marcia viva
-Danza della Fata dei confetti - Andante non troppo
-Danza russa [Trépak] - Tempo di trepak. Molto vivace
-Danza araba - Allegro
-Danza cinese - Allegro moderato
-Danza dei mirlitons
-Valzer dei fiori - Tempo di valse

Very nice expressive use of dynamics and articulation. Impressive and not always seen in YouTube accordion videos. Amazing talent here for sure. Gotta love how his shirt matches his accordion…..😉

Amazing performance. He seemed to be transported to a different world.
Those treble and freebass runs were incredible. You could tell he had been practicing his Hanon excercises!! :)
That accordion sounded magnificent. Couldn't make out the name.
I did notice the rather unusual straps which fitted under the armpits. Hadn't seen them before.

Impressive ... and playing, I believe, a C-system Free bass... a bit different when everyone and their mother is on the Bayan system. :)

The shirt was the first thing I noticed first also.

Now I’m enjoying the performance.

A jaw dropping recital! Not been on the Forum for very long but it has opened my eyes to the variety of accordions there are, the range of music that can be played and the outstanding quality of players both professional and amateur there are out there.
