As we all know, there area only 4 (limited in size) expansion slots on the FR-8.
While this wasn't necessarily an issue with the 4x, I have noticed a couple of extra sets available for the 8x from Roland, and I was wondering if others have experienced them and if they are worth installing over the most common ones loaded?
One that may be interesting is the 9_8xSp_Accord set....
G-Accord 1,G-Accord 2,G-Accord 3, C-Accord A1, C-Accord A2, C-Accord A3, C-Accord N1, C-Accord N2, E-Accord 1, E-Accord 2
There are a couple of others but the sounds don't really jump out at me as being essential.
I have initially decided on loading: Alpine; Balkan; AccOrch; Pads (SP) - the last has a really nice Live Nay and Frula sounds.
Pity Roland cannot allow a mix'n'match option, where we can create our own combo sound sets made up from the factory ones
