Can anyone recommend a soft travel bag with shoulder straps for vintage 48 bass Verdi 1 in UK please 1000000033.jpg

I would buy one from a shop: if you email them with the dimensions of the accordion, they can recommend one. Online music stores have them too. But the actual dimensions are more accurate than saying “48 bass.” I like the Hohner bags, but I don’t know if they still make them. The Fuseli bags are also nice, but have less padding on the bottom.

I bought an excellent one from Liberty Bellows. I told them the accordion model and size over the phone and they told me which would be best. Very strong material, good padding protection, heavy zipper closure, two security straps with snap fasteners across the zipper, a strong leather snapped handle straddling the zipper, four non-skid feet for standing upright, and padded shoulder backpack straps.

I don't know the brand.
I don't know of where to get one like it in the UK but these are so good I suspect they are widely available.

I bought it for a 120 bass Verdi III.

Have a look at Gear4music website.
They give the sizes of the different bags and are very reasonably priced.
I have one which I fitted to a wheeled shopping trolley that I use for whichever accordion I'm taking out.
I am very happy with the quality and construction.
They also accept returns if it is not suitable.

I have a Hohner-branded gig bag for my accordion - it's well made.

This is a smaller version for a 48 bass (despite the misleading web link), it lists internal dimensions:
