I recently acquired this accordion in excellent shape, am trying to determine its age/manufacture date.
It's in a Geib case, also in great shape.
I've found good info on Geib (& Schaefer).
Is the Soprani the brand, or the model?
There was a Paulo Castello, and I've seen both Paulo, and Castello, models.20240908_183909.jpg20240908_184011.jpg20240908_183945.jpg

AFAIK, the badge indicates it's made by Settimio Soprani.
It's also pretty old, like sometime in the (late?🤔) 1950s. Bellows pins, with the same head design as these, were already in use by Settimio Soprani during 1948/49.
Over the years there have been several different Soprani makers. (Originally, like yours, Italian: More recently, Chinese.)
So, Soprani is the maker and Castello could be the model.
I'd say it's a robust, mid-range instrument from "The golden age"!🙂
