Hello all, I'm looking for some mesh material to replace a specialized bellows clasp from a Sano Zon-Rio. (The clasp is unique in that the clasp anchor and strap bracket are a single piece.) The metal mesh watch-band-like material has broken off at the flex point. It's possible to open the 'wings' of the anchor piece and stick new strap material in - the only tricky part is sourcing a match. It's a thin woven metal mesh, about 18mm wide.

This is the closest I've found:

Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Thanks jozz. I'm actually fairly certain I won't find a complete replacement anywhere (other than a matching parts box). So I'm hoping to repair the existing one with the mesh material. I'll probably end up extracting the material from a non-matching clasp, in the end.

Here's the (rather unique) clasp design.

It's a very common bellows strap - make a call here --

Dingo, an interesting proposal... So far, I've tried to use the remaining mesh band by putting it halfway into the 'wings' of each side. It's infuriatingly close. Maybe it would be possible to extend it a little by lacing the ends with very thin wire.

Update: I have done this. It seems decent for now. I'll stay on the lookout for a better replacement, but this will do until then. Thanks for the thought, Dingo.
