Highly unlikely they are stainless as it is weaker than regular steel and therefore cannot produce equally loud sound.
If you look under a valve you can see whether the reed on the inside is blue or silver-shiny. Steel reeds are blue on one side and shinny on the other side from sanding and filing while doing the factory tuning (and a mano reeds are also blue on the side edges of the base as they are made of band-steel instead of plate-steel). Stainless steel is not blue afaik.
