Sylvia Lee, Accordionist 1950s

I wonder can anyone help me with finding Sylvia Lee - or at least finding out something about her or what became of her? 


She was very active in the 1950s up until 1960 when she disappeared from public view entirely. She may have had a son called Julian and lived in the Hammersmith area throughout the 1950s. She appears to have known Ivor Beynon well and taught accordion - as well as piano and singing. I have attached a photo of her with her accordion and a brochure for the academy she ran in 1959 that lists some of her qualification and achievements...

Thanks for your reply and the link! It could be her as she appears to be about the same age as the Sylvia Lee I am looking for... The only thing causes me any doubt is that I understood her maiden name to be Lee - whereas this ladys married name appears to be Lee...


The Sylvia Lee I am seeking was born in Swansea in the early 1930s and learned to play accordion with a family friend, Ivor Beynon in London during the war.


Can you see the photo I attached (I thought I had, but cant see it) which shows her and also gives details of her career in the 1940s and 50s.
