Does anyone have more specific information about TABORROV rods? I have seen brands like Titano, Bugari, Guerrini and Sonola use these reeds but I don't have much information about their origin. Does anyone have information?

If you search the forum for Taborrov, you will find several posts about these reeds.

The few posts I just read seem to regard these reeds very highly, perhaps among the best.

I have encountered these reeds in older Guerrini accordions. They are very good quality reeds: strong and with good sound. I have read that the name of the reed maker is actually Taborro. Not sure what the v stands for. Very sad that such reeds are no longer made.

Has anyone seen the Bugari , Sonola accordion, with Bugari voices ?
They say that Fabrica Bugari never produced voices!!!? So they used Vicenzo Taborro, Cagnoni...etc....
..They say that these voices, which bear the Bugari or Brev stamp. they were made in a factory next to Armando Bugari... but that has nothing to do with Armando Bugari... some mystery... or is it a story they don't like to talk about....
Also I haven't found Bugari accordions, with voices with the same Bugari or Brev stamp. If anyone has info on this...thank you!
I wish you a Happy New Year!!!

I also learned that the Bugari reeds are unrelated to the Armando Bugari accordion manufacturer. As far as I know Armando Bugari never used Bugari reeds. Accordions with Bugari reeds also have reeds with a Brev stamp, but that just means that something in the design was patented.
Bugari accordions use reeds from several different reed makers. I have seen at least 3 different brands of reeds used in seemingly identical Artist Cassotto accordions, made in different years in the past two decades. I guess they "shop around" for the best deal on a certain quality of reeds.
