You write like you have some sort of literary experience or at least are an avid reader. How long have you been playing?

Thank you! Ill take that as a compliment. :D

I do have some literary experience -- I have a doctorate in American Literature, and I was Chairman of the Humanities Division at the College of Saint Rose in upstate New York. But I left that life in 1985 to go into technology.

I took up the accordion seriously in April 2015 when I was 65, so Ive been playing for almost 3 years now -- its an uphill climb, but Im enjoying it.

I invite you to read the complete blog: I hope youll like it.

Thanks for writing!

Okay, I read over all your blog entries. They're a good description of what it's like to go from being a newbie to being fairly experienced.
