This device makes my practice seamless!

32 inch is quite big. I think that for me something like 24 inch would be plenty. I also have friend with much less than perfect eyesight who could use a 24 inch tablet in portrait mode to enlarge the sheet music... Will be somewhat expensive I'm afraid (compared to smaller size tablets that is).

Wow, that’s awesome!!!!! Probably a little funny for the gig but for home practice, very cool!

I do something similar Breezy. I have a 40" TV mounted above my Montage M8x. I screen mirror from my MacBook Pro any sheet music or Gig book when I want to work on something. I usually work it out on the piano first and then translate to the accordion. When it's NFL season I'll pop a game up on it as I practice accordion LOL!

I got mine for $700. For a 32 inch Android tablet with an emergency portable design, it's not too expensive.

I see smaller ones at $500.

I’ve been connecting my iPad to a 50” for many years. :)
The portability aspect of yours looks interesting
I used to concert my MacBook to my TV for my daughters' practice. I use chromecast and cast the screen from Google Chrome. As you mentioned, portability is an advantage. I'm addition to that, doing everything in one device is more convenient.

I had been using paper and binders. I use the MacBook -> Chromecast -> tv for my daughters. The tv on wheels makes it even more easier.

When I was working there I teased the students about the US romantic view of all things Irish. They responded with sending me home with a T shirt, hoodie and mug all with 'Irish' emblazed on the front. I hadn't realised the football connection at the time!

As part of St Patrick's Day celebrations in Chicago, the Chicago River is dyed green. A tradition that was started by Chicago's Irish mayor several decades ago.

Was doing some looking around… double that price and add taxes and shipping for Canadians so that $700 is now closer to $1500 or more.

If someone wanted to do this, and they have an iPad, you can save a lot for minor feature losses. Example, just placing a new $200 smart TV and just placed in to my Hamilton music stand and cast it from my iPad. I could even change songs and flip pages using a BT foot pedal. Only minor difference would be that it needs to be plugged in, and there is no room where I cannot do that in a few seconds.

Another option that I would want to look into tomorrow is to just use a spare 24”monitor which I have here doing nothing.

But this is a great idea, thanks for the inspiration!

Why is it a > 2x increase? I thought Canadian dollars are within 10% of USD
It was... 30 years ago... lol
Right now its over 37% exchange rates (Thanks Mr. Trump! :D ), 17% local taxes, shipping, duty and what not. Oh, and I did some looking. Your model is over $2500 here on Amazon Canada, thats not including taxes and shipping!

With your permission, Josh, I'll place my video solution here of the version that I setup tonight... if you feel intrusive, let me know, I'll delete it. :)

Wow. $2500?? That's something!

Why would I have a problem with a totally relevant video? Absolutely no problems.

I've been using my very first tablet, a Google Nexus 10, for a dozen years for my scores. The internal memory is just big enough, the resolution is high and the battery still lasts a long time.
No updates for years, but I use it offline. And it has a separate monitor output, something that modern Android tablets no longer have. I found a suitable cable in my cable graveyard so I can display the notes on the large monitor at home. In public I use the tablet alone (and only if a piece is asked which I don't have on paper. Paper still preferred).
So, no need to buy new gadgets, an old monitor and tablet does the trick for me.
