I’ve seen a Titano Model Standard “Organette Tube Chamber” come up for sale, 43 cm from white key to white key. Serial number: 46146 - any ideas whether this was made by Victoria or Pigini? Age? Thanks in advance!
Thanks, from what I had researched I thought it might be - but being new to the accordion world I wanted to reach out to the greater knowledge on the forum. Appreciate the response
All Titano accordions with the grille ornaments as in this picture were made by Victoria.
(The converse is not true. Some Titano accordions made by Victoria do not have these ornaments,
especially older ones.)
Thanks debra, appreciate your response. I’ve been enjoying the forum and have noticed your level of expertise on a number of topics; thanks for sharing your knowledge of this incredible instrument!
S-o-o, I have what I think is a Titano, from the two "Badges" on the accordion, but the only name on it is "ACE". Who made this and what is the approximate age. Photo below. Thanks

Hard to tell if it is a Titano from the badges, the shot doesn't let one zoom in much on them. As for age, the rounded corners, the art deco design I'd say it's from the 60's.
Have you tested the mics out? Most condenser mics of that era last about 40-50 years and then die a quick and noble death... lol
There was an Ace accordion company. The owner later went on to establish the Bell brand. I’m not sure if the accordion in your picture is an Ace or not.
The Mics do work, however, they are very sensitive -- just tapping the grill gives a loud thump -- also the amp gain is limited by the feed back that comes through to the speaker. The accordion has a nice sound. The celeste is a nice musette tone. The Bassoon is also nice. It looks like this is an LMMM accordion. See attached pics.
