What an amazing technique this guy has on the triple ocarina !

Different chambers in double, triple or even quadruple ocarinas opening ways to perform chromatic pieces.
Waw...

The sound of an ocarina always sounds "muddy" to me. Like an imperfect pipe.
Still, the technique is pretty amazing considering how simple the instrument is in essence.

True, the ocarina technique requires good breath and air control, and adequate fingering.
Its not the easiest of pieces , this Flight of the Bumble Bee.

Here is a classical piece by Bizet:

This player has better breath control and good intonation in this Bizet piece.

A staccato piece:

The ocarino is far from perfect, but I was amazed to find so many different types of ocarina are being played these days.
Also some wood types over 500 USD.

This man seems to be an expert, demonstrating and comparing bass quadruple multichamber ocarinas:

I read this thing plays 45 tones (over 3,5 octaves) and is chromatic...
nice sound

The size of the instrument is still OK, not too big.
I think I ll get one of these if I can find one at a local folk music festival
