I have inherited an italian accordion from my late father, brand Mirandelli.
It is probably from between 1950-1960 but that's me guessing.

Is there someone here who knows more about the brand because i cannot find any information about it.
Also more info on the type/model accordion would be very much appreciated.

I do not play any instrument myself but i grew up with a grandfather who would play an accordion at big birthdays and parties.
I never saw my father play this one but if found a photo of him holding this one.

Thank you in advance.

Freark,
I don’t know the brand, my guess is it’s a stencil brand that bought their accordions from another builder or a minor builder that didn’t last long. A picture of the end of the piano keys may give insight into its age. The five unmarked registers could indicate a three reed model but it wasn’t unheard of for 2 reed models to use 5 register units with duplicate settings. To me it looks like a 1950s 1960s student to intermediate level accordion. If it plays as well as it looks it would be a good instrument to learn on.

Thank you for the reply. I think i will gift it to someone who knows how to play it.
