Hi newby here,
It would be nice to know when about it was made. The box label says Hohner 114 10-4-2. One row in key of A. I wrote Hohner in Germany and their info doesn't match our family history of it at all. Here is what they had to say :
' We talked to our experts again and were told that this instrument is not the 114 but 112, which was built between 1979 and 1989. It is strange indeed if you say this was your grandfathers, but the keyboard seems to be made of plastic which was not yet available in 1963.
Well, it seems like there is an interesting history behind your accordion.
All the best

My grandfather bought it in the 30's-40's and died in 1963. There is no way this accordeon would have been built in 1979-1989.
Does anyone have any idea about the history of this accordeon and about when it was produced ?
Thank You,
