I couldn’t find any mention of this little MIDI sound module AKA expander AKA rompler on this forum - mainly because “v3” ist too short to use in the query And “sound” is not a helpful query either. :)

I watched this video demo and thought that it may serve people who are searching for external natural accordion sounds. Actually I was quite impressed.

Was it discussed before?
Anyone tried it?

PS:
Well, pure magic! After I finished my posting the forum engine automatically suggested me to read the follwing post:

Yes, I have the V3 Sound Accordion Master XXL. I used it with my 8X. I bought it to check out the various accordion sounds. There are a lot of accordion sound choices. However, I did not find any that I liked better than what I could "customize" with the 8X PC Editor.
The V3 XXL has 122 Accordion sounds (French, Italian, German, Slovenia, and Scottish/Irish). You pick the sound, but once you pick it, it is fixed. Examples are: Scandalli Super VI, Bugari, Gola, musette, etc. There is a reed footage listed for each of the 122 sounds. There are 16, 8, 88, 888, 4+16, 8+16, 4+8+16, etc. reed sounds. But, once you pick the sound, you can't modify it.

I like the versatility of the 8X with the many choices I have for the reeds and their tone. For example, for each “Accordion Tone” the choices are:
- Reed footages of 16’, 8’, 8’-, 8’+. 4’, 5 1/3’, and 2 2/3’
- For each reed, there is a choice of 32 Types such as Classic, Alpine, etc. Note you can mix Types, i.e; a 16’ Classic with a 4’ Alpine
- For each reed, there is a 3 octave choice of -1, 0, +1
- For each reed there is a Volume adjust of -40 to +40
- There are also overall choices of Reverb, Chorus, Delay, After Pitch Touch ( ½ & ¼ Down, ½ & ¼ Up), 4 Band Equalizer ( Low Freq., Mid1 Freq, Mid2 Freq, and High Freq.)

I made this demo with V3.
With app V3 Sound Control you control wirelessly sound expander.

The previous thread (mentioned by Piotr in message #4) made me buy the Sonority XXL variant. I think I bought it for use with a lightweight keyboard or a MIDI-guitar (including Fishman TriplePlay), but I happen to focus on the audio side of guitars and bass guitars at the moment. :)

Using quote marks in the query box like "v3 sound" looks like it yields a nice list of results.
