Hi,

I was wondering if anyone knows where I can purchase a new backpad for my Poeta. I do not wish to deal with Victoria.

I would even be interested in someone that could custom make a pad based on the original template.

I appreciate any information that could be provided. Thank you in advance for your time.

Ah, the Victoria Poeta. What a magnificent instrument and one I have been considering.

You may want to try Petosa. I don't think backpads are instrument-specific but I could be wrong. It's all in the snap placements on alike full-size 41/120 instruments.

You may want to try Petosa. They make some really nice velour pads that match the wood of the Poeta well. They have an online shop you can peruse.

Good luck with your search.

Some years ago I had a back pad made to measure to my template by a person in the US.
What I particularly like about it was the part of the clip that fits to the accordion was stuck on rather than with the usual screw holes in the accordion with the obvious advantages.
Unfortunately I can't remember the name of the maker but I'll look through my files and will let you know if I come across him.

Backpads are made in several different sizes and easy to find, but they do not come with the "snaps" installed because the placement of the snaps is different on each accordion. (You can buy them from a haberdashery shop, including the tools to fit them.)

I would be perfectly fine installing the snaps myself. Immore interested in the exact Poeta shape, and the crushed velvet look.

I would appreciate any information pertaining to someone who could fabricate a template for me.

Thank you for your time. Much appreciated.
