Have any of you that play an acoustic accordion through an external mic experimented with vocal reverb pedals?

yes

TC electronics have some excellent and affordable
models for sale.. some have XLR as well as line jacks

the red Mic Mechanic is usually easy to find used, still
sold new..

even their least expensive model is quite amazing for quality

but actually almost ALL mixers/amps with true digital FX
sections today have very high quality Reverb usable for
accordion mic's

and if you don't own a nice handy little Mixer/Amp there are many
available at reasonable prices.. i think one of our members
recently added a professional SAMSON unit to his kit.. very nice quality..

the issue I see with reverb as an effect is that I don’t like it on my left hand. My solution has been to get an Elite acoustic branded “mixer” pedal which is essentially a 4 channel mixer built into a pedal format so if you have an accordion with separate outputs for left and right hand, you can bring them into separate channels and apply eq and reverb independently (and still have two channels to mix midi arranger outs or drum machine) It’s not the cheapest solution but makes a very capable and compact option whether you’re plugging into your own amp or sending your accordion signal to a soundboard of some kind.
