Weird Old Soprani Bass Registers

A friend sent me detail photos of a 1940s Soprani with some strange bass register buttons. Im not sure what they indicate. I can see why they switched :roll: to the standardized dot-system.

Its a 120 Bass Settimio Soprani, pretty much a grown-up version of the Midget Grand I have, with the same unusual short sideways reed blocks.

Looks like a Ampliphonic model. The little notes on the staph indicate the number of reeds in use, higher and lower indicate octave of reeds.
They often have very nice reeds.
