This past weekend, I pulled out my old accordion from its dungeon in my mother’s basement to show my kids as they were asking about it. I played from age 8-13 then gave it up as many kids do. That was 35 years ago. The case was in rough shape but the accordion was in shockingly good condition: no stuck reeds, no leaky bellows.
I’d like to figure out what model Giulietti it is (pics attached). It was bought new around 1985 through my accordion teacher. It’s a 41/120 with 3 voices (master/bassoon/clarinet) and I’m guessing it was made by Zero Sette. On the back by the Giulietti logo is stamped “18300” which I assume is the serial number. Under the RH cover, there is a “31” stamped into the metal frame.
I started playing it again and have been surprised how quickly it’s coming back to me.
Thank you!
