It's just another case of wearing your cap back to front or parking your car facing the wrong way.

lol... yeah, its the knobs up top, you are holding it up side down. Those knobs, if functional are like registers, they can change the sound on some models.

Along the same lines, there was recently an ebay listing where the seller was "not sure why it seems to have 3 feet, all on one side".
