I have to confess that one of my very very favourite squeezebox players is a melodeonist. Or possibly, THE melodeonist...



Spiers & Boden. We went to see their gig at the Ropetackle in Shoreham last night. Absolutely marvellous.
If you want to know how to play English folk, these two guys might just be the best first port of call.
 
The are good. Smooth I would say (if that adjective is admissible in this context)
 
My amateur assessment is that their playing seems quite effortless, and also, Three Tunes sounds strangely Nordic to my ear, which is nice. Hm, keeping wrist straight doesn't seem to be of great concern for the melodeon player.
