You want Bellows Shake?

A not offensive joke: Beethoven, Mozart and Tchaikovsky went to a bar. Barman asked, do you know John Gart? He is your type of guy.

There have been some recent discussions about the Bellows Shake. Here’s an example - VIVO by John Gart. I hope you will enjoy it.

Bravo Zevy......You should have played at the Las Vegas Accordion Convention.................Excellent !!
I did not get the joke either ...................perhaps someone can explain it ??

That was awesome Zevy!!!! And we all know from watching Mr. Contino that those Petosas can withstand quite a bit of bellow-shaking without issue!

Nice work Zevy..I'd have to practice 8 hours a day to play what you did. Concerning bellows shaking, if one plays in a Polish Polka Band you will be doing a lot of bellows shaking...it's a driving force behind the music..

Thanks. You can chop the years, months and weeks that I worked on this any way you want. You might just get some 8 hour days….

Yeah. Lots of shaking going on there!

"...and don't call me Shirley!"

No, I had not come across this example of brilliant musicianship previously - thank you for posting it.
Emma Rose's marriage of Figaro was one of the first videos I watched after I started researching about accordion. After watching that I decided that I'm buying an accordion.

After I started working with teacher I asked him how long it will take me to play like that. His response was "probably never, but if you put in the work, about ten years". I have three more years to go. 😬

By his measure, the young lady must have started as a four year old!

... the 'blurb' puts her at 14 when that was recorded.

I wonder what she is doing these days.

Just found out:

In Dingo's part of the world, no less ;)
