Riders In The Sky - The Arms Of My Love, accordion part?

So this song “The Arms Of My Love” will be played at the fiddle camp I’m going to at the end of July, the tune and chords are easy-peasy but I see the band “Riders In The Sky” have an accordion player. I have a hard time hearing what he’s doing, is he just padding chords to the tune? Is that all I should do for fill?
