Yes, just format it first.

Thanks jim! Have not downloaded the program for my lap top yet. Can I. Flormat from the accordion? Just don't want to lose the sounds that you loaded. So b4 making any changes I want to back them up. Thanks again!

You can use a new usb stick - load everything from the Roland you now have, and save it to re-program your box to what you have now if needed in the future.

Thanks. Yes, I don't want to loose any of the sounds you installed.

You have to format the stick as a FAT 32 disk I think. This isn't the default for Macs so if you have a mac you might have to reformat the stick so the Roland can read it. Mac's can read them fine once you format them with Disk Utility or whatever, but the Roland won't recognize other formats.

I suspect if you're on Windows it will already be fine.

Window's works fine.

Ok, so I flormat the stick with the laptop 1st. Windows is what I have. Thanks I'm such a coumputer idiot! Just don't want to mess things up. Been there done that b4!
Thanks again.
